My older son's room

Hi friends! Thank you so much for visiting my page....i would like to share with you my older son's room. I am very proud of this room for many reasons.
It was really the first room that i have ever concentrated on, i wanted my son to feel very special. At the time my son was 7 yrs old and was very much into The spider man movie - he is 9 next month. I wanted him to be able to escape so i did the best i could. He is much older now and over due a room make-over...i'm thinkin of doing a mural of Messi #10 on his wall and go with a soccer themed room.

I've been looking for a computer chair in blue to go with this custom made furniture - dresser and desk fused. I  was however fortunate enough to have found it and when i went back the following day to purchase this blue chair, it was GONE! that was 2 yrs ago....i'm still searching.

How to make artificial Topiary trees

I have found that artificial topiary trees can be quite expensive to purchase retail.  I have come up with a frugal way to enjoy these decorative beauty without breaking the bank.

You will need:
-Scissors (Knife)
-Greenery
-Stick
-Foam ball
-Pot
-Hair pins

HERE GOES.....
A few things you will need (hair pins and scissors excluded)
Cut the foam in two pieces....you will use the other half later
We are now going to make this square into a sphere (it might not be perfect but thats ok)
 Cut the end corners
  Cut those end corners again
Cut all the edges (basically try to shape it as round as possible)
It should look something like this....
Use your bobby pins to adhere the greenery to your ball

Now you have a topiary ball
Insert your stick into your topiary ball

Add greenery to conceal the base ...

Here is the finish product ***wasnt this fun?***

Here are other Topiaries that i have made. I pop these beauties all over my house to add spunk and class

Kim's Kitchen

I built this ladder out of pbc pipes so its super light in weight....I  hung it from my ceiling with small garden chains with hooks...... then i added faux vines.
The lighting in my kitchen is really bright, so pardon the washed out images....thanks!
